Ghosts are Not Real
Happy January 9th Everyone! Today is a very very important day. The sad reality is that today is not important to many of you. But to the people of Panama, its Martyr's Day! An important day of remembrance for the sacrifices made my Anti-American protestors who fought for sovereignty of their country. If you feel that Independence Day, tailgates, fireworks, and obscene consumption of nectar derived from the gamete of distillery methods is important, you best better believe Martyr's Day is important too. Today might be the happiest day of a new couples' life as they exchange wedding vows and swear to be with each other until the end. Hopefully this couple manages to flip a heads in the coin toss that is marriage and watch each other grow old. To the not so fortuitous couple of the tails side, today will mark the day one life becomes two again. Some will cry today as it's their 1st birthday, opening their eyes to a rejoicing family. Others will shed their last tear, closing their eyes for their final rest. The lack of deviation from your routine life shouldn't be the determining factor in the significance of a day. But for the rest of you who aren't convinced today is important and don't have a date later tonight with your future soulmate- today can feel important to you too, because today I will prove ghosts don't exists.
The ghost in folklore and modern interpretation are the spirit or soul of an dead human or animal. These ghosts usually take the form of a vengeful spirit, some dead being that still has a bone to pick with the living world. Ghosts are sometimes helpful too, think about Casper or Patrick Swayze in Ghost. I suppose regardless of their intention, ghosts tend to have something tying them to the mortal world. Honestly, if that's the only qualification required before turning into a ghost, I'm surprised we don't have more supernatural experiences in this world. Everyone would be a ghost.
So this blog is unfinished. I like many others simply got distracted by something else and really never finished the blog. However, rather than trying to finish this blog, I should just post it as it is. It's really to hold myself more accountable and acknowledge my shortcomings. Regardless, ghosts aren't real by the way.
